I believe in paying attention to uncelebrated, but telling moments that highlight character and qualities that might otherwise go unnoticed. Mining out these nuances provides the inspiration for my work. I strive to communicate essence through gesture, a deliberate arrangement of elements, or a specific point of view. The representational aesthetic of my work leans into the philosophies of Romanticism and Impressionism. Rewarding art experiences all throughout my school years eventually led me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2000. My perpetual love of drawing, and interests in communication design and psychology have inspired me through the years.
